  1. 12-28-93                PC BIOS Problems
  2.  
  3. Some BIOS may be the cause of a problem. Here is a partial list.
  4.  
  5. ALR-MPS (Microchannel)  are incompatible with IDE HD
  6.  
  7. AMI-  1987  can  cause  system re-boot,  1989  inermittant  UAEs  &  system
  8.      hangs, 1991 serial port mouse/modem problems.
  9.  
  10. AST- system locks, GP faults, on AST Premium 286
  11.  
  12. AWARD- before 3.05 cause floppy error. 3.1 is latest
  13.  
  14. DTK- before  rev35  Windows runs but no IDE  support, rev35  wouldn't  run
  15.      Enhanced, rev36 requires Utils diabled in CMOS
  16.  
  17. QUADTEL- 3.05 req for Windows
  18.  
  19. PEAKDM- need rev1.30
  20.  
  21. Phoenix- all must be later than 1988
  22.  
  23. Toshiba- T3100/20 ver4.2+, T3100e 1.7+, T5200  during Windows set correctly
  24.  
  25. Tandon- keyboard failures w/ older rev.
  26.  
  27. Wyse- select wrong (84) keyboard - run Winows setup (outside Windows)
  28.  
  29. Zenith- 386/16 rev 2.6e+, 286 miss/repeat keystrokes. Turbosport  rev2.4D+,
