  3.             Connecting to 300bps (try with 1200bps too) modems.

  5.      After some testing with a stubborn 300bps modem a user was calling,  I

  7. found that the Zoom/modem needed AT &C0 &D0 (rather than &C1 &D2) to get  a
  8.  
  9. connect. Also with a V-series modem use &Q0 S37=3 N0, and set the terminal-
  10.  
  11. modem speed to 300bps. (S37=5  for 1200bps)
  12.  
  13.      If this doesn't help, I can try calling that troublesome modem.
