  19.   Joe DeRouen publishes, edits, and writes for STTS magazine. He's had
  20.   poetry and fiction published in several on-line magazines and a few
  21.   paper publications as well. He's written exactly 1.5 novels, none of
  22.   which, alas, have seen the light of publication. He attends college
  23.   part-time in search of that always-elusive english degree. In his
  24.   spare time, he enjoys reading, running his BBS, collecting music,
  25.   playing with his five cats, singing opera, hunting pseudopods, and
  26.   most importantly spending time with his beautiful wife Heather.

  28.   L. Shawn Aiken dropped out of college when he realized that they  
  29.   couldn't teach him the two things he wanted to do; live successfully,
  30.   and write.  He had to find out these things all by himself on the
  31.   road.  Thus he became a road scholar.  After spending his life hopping
  32.   country to country, state to state, he now feels confident in his
  33.   abilities and is working on his literary career.  His main endevour is
  34.   to become successful in the speculative fiction area, but he enjoys
  35.   writing all forms of literary art.

  37.   Heather DeRouen writes software for the healthcare industry, CoSysOps
  38.   Sunlight Through The Shadows BBS, enjoys playing with her five cats,
  39.   cross-stitching, and reading. Most of all, she enjoys spending time
  40.   with her dapper, charming, witty, and handsome (not to mention modest)
  41.   husband Joe. Heather's help towards editing and proofreading this
  42.   magazine has been immeasurable.

  44.   Bruce Diamond, part-time pseudopod and ruler of a small island chain
  45.   off the coast of Chilé, spends his time imitating desk lamps when he
  46.   isn't watching and critiquing movies for LIGHTS OUT, his BBS movie
  47.   review publication (now syndicated to over 15 boards).  Bruce started
  48.   reviewing movies for profit in 1978, as part of a science fiction
  49.   opinion column he authored for THE BUYER'S GUIDE FOR COMICS FANDOM
  50.   (now called THE COMICS BUYER'S GUIDE).  LIGHTS OUT, now a year old, is
  51.   available through Bruce's distributor, Jay Gaines' BBS AMERICA
  52.   (214-994-0093).  Bruce is a freelance writer and video producer in the
  53.   Dallas/Fort Worth area.

  55.   Gage Steele, illegitimate love child of Elvis Presley and Madonna, has
  56.   been calling BBS's since the early seventies. Having aspired to write
  57.   for an electronic magazine all her life, Gage is now living the
  58.   American dream. Aged somewhere between 21 and 43, she plans to
  59.   eventually get an english degree and teach foreign children not to
  60.   dangle their participles.

  62.   There is very little known about Tamara, and she prefers to let it
  63.   remain that way. She's a woman of mystery and prefers to remain hidden
  64.   in the shadows of the BBS world. (Enigmatic, don't you think?)

  78.   Mark Denslow is a student at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary in the
  79.   Religious Studies Division in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is
  80.   working toward his Cerificate in Religious Studies and Roman
  81.   Chatechetical Diploma. He hopes to be admitted to their Master of Arts
  82.   Degree Program after completing the Cerificate and Diploma. He enjoys
  83.   Poetry, Genealogy, Computing, and Religion.

  85.   Grant Guenther, sometimes known as J. Guenther, confesses to be from a
  86.   long-lost Martian colony, but in-depth investigations reveals that he
  87.   was born and raised in a small but well-to-do community called
  88.   Hartland in Wisconsin.  A senior, he has written several collections
  89.   of poems, and won many awards from his high school literary magazine,
  90.   including 1st place for poetry and short-short fiction.  He is the
  91.   editor-in-chief of the school newspaper and writes as a humor
  92.   columnist (or at least he thinks so).

  94.   Steve Powers is a free-lance writer from Denton, Texas. He writes a
  95.   monthly column for Computer Currents and a weekly column for Denton
  96.   Record-Chronicle as well as book reviews in the Fort Worth
  97.   Star-Telegram and Dallas Morning News. He's currently working on a
  98.   novel that he hopes will equal Robert James Waller :) (Not really) He
  99.   has three kids who all are anxious to be computer literate but are now
  100.   keyboard enamored; they pound on it all the time when dad is not
  101.   looking. Steve has a wonderfully tolerant wife who waits patiently for
  102.   him to stop fooling with the computer and come to bed.

  104.   Daniel Sendecki is a young, emerging, Canadian writer who lives 
  105.   in Burlington, Ontario.  Currently, Daniel is pursuing his writing 
  106.   interests at home but intends to study literature at McGill 
  107.   University, in Montreal, Quebec.

  109.   Andee SoRelle is a visual artist working in both paint and clay.
  110.   She lives in the Dallas, Texas area and enjoys BBSing, (of course!)
  111.   music, film, and kvetching about her day job.

  113.   Louis Turbeville currently works as a computer analyst for the Air  
  114.   Force.  He's originally from Hawaii (about an 1/8 Hawaiian <everyone
  115.   seems to ask>) and has a BBA in Management Information Systems from the
  116.   University of Hawaii.  Louis is married and has a two year old son who
  117.   keeps him busy, especially when he wants to sit at the computer and
  118.   write.  His interest in writing was nurtured by his wife, a journalism
  119.   and english major who's yet to be published and holds this very much
  120.   against Louis. <G>  He's had a couple of reviews published on
  121.   WindowsOnLine Review Magazine and hopes to broaden his base of published
  122.   media in the near future.
