  1. Installing sTOP tHAT:
  2.     In order to minimize download size, no installation program is included 
  3.     with sTOP tHAT.  To install:
  4.        
  5.        1) Create the subdirectory where you wish sTOP tHAT to be.  This 
  6.           can be any new or existing directory, and DOES NOT need to be 
  7.           in the computer's PATH statement.  
  8.  
  9.        2) Use PKUNZIP (or similar program) to UNZIP the file STOPTH.ZIP 
  10.           in the new directory.

  12.        3) From Program Manager (or similar windows shell), 
  13.           pick FILE | NEW | Program Item to add the icon for sTOP tHAT.
  14.  
  15.        4) Enter the path to the directory where you placed STOPTHAT.EXE.  
  16.  
  17.     In most cases, sTOP tHAT icon is placed in the StartUP folder so that it 
  18.     is run every time Windows starts.

  20. Upgrading from a previous version of sTOP tHAT:
  21.     Make sure that ALL file from the previous version are deleted 
  22.     BEFORE installing the new version.  sTOP tHAT marks its .DLL 
  23.     files as read-only.  To upgrade:
  24.        
  25.        Under Windows:
  26.           1) Using File Manager, mouse click into the directory 
  27.              where STOPTHAT.EXE is.  
  28.              
  29.           2) Select the files KEY.DLL and CTL3D.DLL.

  31.           3) Press the Del key.
  32.  
  33.           4) Answer "YES" when prompted to delete a read-only 
  34.              file.

  36.        Under DOS:
  37.           1) Change the directory where STOPTHAT.EXE is.
  38.  
  39.           2) Type:   attrib -r *.dll
  40.  
  41.           3) Type:   del *.dll
  42.  
  43.        Then copy the new version of sTOP tHAT to the directory 
  44.        and run.

  46. What if I want to uninstall the program?
  47.     All Wave Software programs are designed to run independently of any
  48.     system modifications.  Your AUTOEXEC.BAT, CONFIG.SYS, WIN.INI, and 
  49.     SYSTEM.INI files are not changed in any way by our products.

  51.     To uninstall a Wave Software program, simply delete the program files.  
  52.     In some cases, there will be a private .INI file in the windows 
  53.     directory.  The .INI file will have the name of the Wave application 
  54.     program as its name.  This file may also be deleted.

  57. What do I get if I register?
  58.     The price is $9.95.  If you register sTOP tHAT, you will receive an 
  59.     unlock code.  This code will show that the program has been 
  60.     registered on the start up splash screen.  If you chose to 
  61.     receive a disk, the latest version will be sent to you for 
  62.     an additional $5.00.  In most cases, the version that you 
  63.     download will be current, and there is no need to receive the disk.

  65. What are the differences between the registered and unregisterd versions?
  66.     1) The splash screen.
  67.     2) The unregistered version's icon cannot be hidden.
