  22.      This program will allow you to edit your STRING.DAT file. Aren't you tired
  23. of having to retype in a string if you mess up, and sick of the way the pipe
  24. codes are handled in the internal editor? Well, then here's your remedy. This
  25. is a Vision/2 style string editor for all you K-Rad people out there. I will
  26. allow you to edit all of your prompts in a nice little string edit function, so
  27. you can use all your cursor keys, backspace, delete, insert, and whatever else
  28. you can think of. It also has some spiffy scrollbars, and a few other neat-o
  29. things, so use it!

  35.      As always, I, the programmer, will take no responsibility, should this
  36. program cause any problems with your hardware. In other words, don't blame me
  37. if your computer suddenly explodes while using this product. There are no
  38. intentional bugs or trojans in the program, but for some reason, if something
  39. was to happen, don't blame me for it. Use this program at your own risk!

  45.      Now, how do I use this program? Simply put it, along with the RGSE.DAT
  46. file in your C:\RG\DATA, or equivalent directory containing the STRING.DAT
  47. file, and run it. Easy enough.

  49.      Inside the program, while in the Edit Mode, you can use the following
  50. functions:
  51.  
  52. ALT - D: Deletes the current string you are editing.
  53. ALT - N: Advance to the next color scheme in the SCHEME.DAT file.
  54. ALT - R: Restores the original string you started editing.
  55. ALT - U: Undeletes the last string you deleted with ALT - D.
  56. ESC    : Aborts any changes made to the string and returns to Selection Mode.
  57. RETURN : Saves the changes made to the string and returns to Selection Mode.

  59.      From the startup menu, there are 3 options: Edit Strings, Save Strings,
  60. and Exit to DOS. If you have made some changes to the strings, and try to exit
  61. without saving, it will ask you if you want to save the strings anyway. The 
  62. only reason ther is a Save Strings option on the startup menu, is because
  63. I didn't want to just have 2 options for the scrollbar menu. I think the rest 
  64. of the program is pretty self-explanatory.
