Menu Master (Tm)
Version 3.00
The Appendix
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why are there two Executables and no MM.EXE?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Menu Master now includes "two" versions.
MM4V11X.EXE 130995 8-26-93 2:59
MM4V2XX.EXE 135203 8-26-93 2:59
There are TWO different executables. MM4V11X.EXE is for Remote
Access vi.xx systems, which have chosen not to go to version 2.0.
(A lot of the "newer" features are v2.00 specific. If you can see
the option in MENU MASTER, it's available.)
MM4V2XX.EXE is Menu Master for Remote Access v2.00.
We recommend renaming the version you need to MM.EXE so you'll
have quick access to Menu Master.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Menu Master is mentioning that there are no File areas
or message bases defined
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
- Double check that you actually have any message bases and/or
file areas defined in the RACONFIG utility.
- The reason behind this message is to ensure that you realize
MenuMaster can't find the above information. If you see
the message, MenuMaster will *NOT* be in full simulation
mode, and will "hide" the MESSAGE AREA names, and FILE AREA
names, since it can't find the files that contain the
information.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Menu Master is saying that it can't find the Menu Files
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
- Check to make sure that your menu path under the LANGUAGES has
the Menu/Text File directories "set".
Menu Master uses the first Language setting. The Menu path in the
"main" section is really redundant.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I can't Stand the fact that MenuMaster "forces" the NumLock.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You can now turn it off by using the NUM_LOCK setting in the
configuration file. (MM.CFG) This feature was added because of
popular demand.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What's F4 on the Add/Edit menu?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This gives you access to the Extended Security functions that are
missing in RACONFIG's Menu Editor. You probably won't use
these features very often.
NOTE: This version of Menu Master will not allow editing the GROUP
and NODE settings. Menu Master will leave them unchanged, so
you can set them with RACONFIG.
NOTE: Time Settings default to 00:00 for the start time and 23:59
for the end time.
