  4. These type 1 midi files were created using Passport's MUSIC TIME 
  5. composing software. The files work best using the Windows 3.1
  6. multimedia player after editing the midimapper file to include
  7. your soundcard midi driver on all channels. Some of this music
  8. uses up to nine channels at a time.

  10. Most of the music is from the Baroque period and before. Some are
  11. by myself. All are public domain and may be altered to suit your
  12. taste.

  14. Some of you may find that after importing these midi files back into
  15. a score generating application, (like MUSIC TIME) and some minor
  16. editing, the music can be played by various groups of instruments.
  17. My intention has been to arrange for groups of recorders but other
  18. instrumental combinations are possible.
