  4. This is version 1.0a because I forgot to include the GSW files in the
  5. previous version. I didn't realize my mistake until I tried to run the pro-
  6. gram on a machine that didn't have Visual Basic on it. Everything should work
  7. now, but if it doesn't, send me an E-Mail message (the address is in the
  8. Windows Help file), and tell me what went wrong.

  10. Automatic setup and install programs always worry me; I'm keep thinking that
  11. they're going to over-write something important without telling me about it.
  12. Therefore, I'm not going to inflict the same kind of aggravation on everyone 
  13. else. Although this program has to be set-up manually, it's really easy, and 
  14. you will be in complete control of the installation.

  17. Step 1 --- Create a working directory. e.g. C:\LOTTOSIM
  18.            Copy the following files into this directory:
  19.  
  20.            LOTTOSIM.EXE
  21.            LOTTOSIM.HLP
  22.  
  23. Step 2 --- Copy the following files into C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM (if you have
  24.            Windows loaded somewhere else, copy them into its SYSTEM
  25.            directory)

  27.            GRAPH.VBX
  28.            GSW.EXE
  29.            GSWDLL.DLL
  30.            MSMASKED.VBX
  31.            THREED.VBX

  33. Step 3 --- Make sure that you have a copy of VBRUN300.DLL, and copy it
  34.            into C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM, or any directory listed in your path
  35.  
  36. Step 4 --- (Optional) I have included a .WAV file to be used as a first-
  37.            prize sound. If your PC can play .WAV files, then copy this
  38.            file into your C:\WINDOWS directory.

  42. Step 5 --- In the Windows Program Manager, select Run from the file menu.
  43.            Select LOTTOSIM.EXE from your working directory, and click on
  44.            the OK button.

  48. Reading the help file is not necessary to use this program. It's there to
  49. supply background information and technical details, once you become
  50. familiar with it. To view the help file, repeat Step 5 using LOTTOSIM.HLP 
  51. as the file name.
