Archive Contents:
JS-CLOSE.TXT - This file (instructions)
REGISTER.TXT - Registration form for JS-Close
JS-ClISE.EXE - JS-Close executable
CLOSE.DLL - The JS-Close runtime DLL. (Needed to run JS-Close)
Description:
JS-Close is a utility that will help you close windows alot faster.
After running JS-Close all you have to do to close a window is chick
on the title bar or the icon if the window is minimize with the
right mouse button (You know the button not in use).
System Requirements:
JS-Close is completely self-contained and requires Windows 3.1.
The CLOSE.DLL Must be in the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.
JS-Close uses very little memory and uses almost no system resources.
Installation:
Installation is very easy.
Create a new directory (such as C:\JS-CLOSE).
Unzip the archive into this directory.
Copy CLOSE.DLL to the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.
Create a new program manager item for JS-Close.
The command line should read "C:\JS-CLOSE\JS-CLOSE.EXE".
Double-click the new icon to start JS-Close.
I prefer to add the program item to the StartUp group in Windows 3.1.
This causes JS-Close to start every time I start Windows.
How to use JS-Close:
After running JS-Close the JS-Close icon will be on the bottom of
your screen.
Just click on the title bar of any window you want to close. If
the window is minimize, just click on the icon.
