  33. JS-Clip is a utility that copys part of your screen to the
  34. windows clipboard so you can paste it into any windows program.

  37. System Requirements:

  39. JS-Clip is completely self-contained and requires Windows 3.1.
  40. JS-Clip uses very little memory and uses almost no system resources.

  43. Installation:
  44.  
  45. Installation is very easy.
  46. Create a new directory (such as C:\JS-Clip).
  47. Unzip the archive into this directory.
  48. Create a new program manager item for JS-Clip.
  49. The command line should read "C:\JS-Clip\JS-Clip.EXE".
  50. Double-click the new icon to start JS-Clip.

  52. I prefer to add the program item to the StartUp group in Windows 3.1.
  53. This causes JS-Clip to start every time I start Windows.

  56. How to use JS-Clip:

  58. After running JS-Clip the JS-Clip icon will be on the bottom of
  59. your screen.
  60. Click on the JS-Clip icon the system menu will pop up.
  61. At this time you can do a clip one of two ways.

  63. The 1st way is to click on the start option in the menu.
  64. A pen will popup go to the top left part of the screen you
  65. want to copy, click and hold the left mouse button down.
  66. At the same time move the crosshairs(If you are can move
  67. the crosshairs may show up as the pen) to the bottom right
  68. part of the screen you want to copy. Then take your finger
  69. off the button. The JS-Clip just copy the part you the screen
  70. you boxed to the clipboard for you to use.

  72. The 2nd way is to click on the Drop back & start option in the menu.
  73. This will make the JS-Clip icon drop back on the screen. and then you
  74. use the JS-Clip the same way as the first way.

  78. MORE THEN ONE WAY TO MAKE CLIPS:

  80. As you now know if you go from the top left to the bottom right
  81. your clip cames out as normal.  If you clip from right to left
  82. your clip will be flip and if you clip form bottom to topm then
  83. your clip will be upside down. So if you clip from the bottom right
  84. to the top left your clip will be flip and updown.

  90.   I will keep improving the program if I know enough people are
  91.   finding it useful.

  93.   My registration policy is very flexible. The nominal fee are listed
  94.   in the file REGISTER.TXT. If you don't feel you will get your money
  95.   worth of use out of JS-Clip, send whatever it is worth to you.

  97.   If you are impoverished and can't afford to pay anything,
  98.   enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope
  99.   and I will send you a registration.

  101.   This is not freeware or public domain. Shareware is simply a means
  102.   of marketing commercial software. You are required to register if
  103.   you intend to use this program after a reasonable trial period.

  105.   When registering, please tell me the version number you have 
  106.   and where you obtained your copy of JS-Clip.

  110.   JS-Clip should be registered for the maximum number of copies that
  111.   can be used simultaneously at your site. Site fees for commercial
  112.   users can be negotiated.

  115.   Handling fee of $3 I will send you the latest versions of JS-Clip.

  117.   also send other File related shareware programs.
