Installing:
Copy HOCUSED.INI to your WINDOWS directory (i.e. C:\WINDOWS)
All other files can be placed (together) in any directory.
Run HPSGED.EXE to start. The first time, it will ask you for
your Hocus Pocus game directory. After you enter this, you must
restart HPSGED. Then you are all set!
Usage:
You use the scroll bar to move between the different save game slots.
You can edit your score, the difficulty level, and the level you are on.
One note: The maximum score you can enter is 99,999,999.
When you are done, select "SAVE" from the menu to save the changes.
Oh, you can also edit the 'title' of your saved game. Just click on the
name of the old one.
About the program:
HPSGED was written in Visual Basic 3.0, Standard edition.
Because of this, it requires VBRUN300.DLL, which is available
on almost every BBS in the nation. I did not include it due to the
fact that most people already have it, and it is about 300k
compressed.
HPSGED is cardware. This means that if you like it and use it, you are
obligated to send me a postcard! It will be interesting to see how far
this program travels. Send post cards to:

Of course, any cash contributions will be greatly appreciated, and will
support me in future projects.
If you would like the full source code for this program, send me $15 and
I will send it to you by regular mail. Be sure to tell me which disk size
you prefer (5.25 or 3.5). The code includes many useful functions for
working with Hex numbers, including conversions, a FLIPer, a PADer,
and Hex file read/write.

comments) in these other ways:
