  35. ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

  37. This program adds  a text file on to  the end of a GIF picture.  It does
  38. not have  to be a  text file,  an ANSI file  will do.  Add what you want
  39. displayed to the end of the gif file.

  42. USAGE| GIFCOM <GIF picture/anim file> <text file>
  43.

  45. It makes the GIF picture into a version 89 GIF.  If the orginal GIF is a
  46. version 87  it will become a version 89.  This is because the version 87
  47. format does not handle comments. The version 89 does.
  48.  
  49. To see the comment, you MUST have a picture viewer that can view version
  50. 89 GIFs. VPIC and CSHOW both support GIF version 89 pictures.

  52. If a GIF has been GIFLITEd, there will not cause any problems.
  53.  
  54. NOTE: If you have tabs  in the text file, you  will need to run the text
  55.       file through a program which will convert the tabs to spaces.
  56.  
  57. It could be  good for  sysops who  want to  show that  this picture  has
  58. passed through their BBS.

  63. filling out the registration form and sending at least $10 US to:

  71. have  the following message at the top  of the display  when the picture
