  5.             Thank you  for taking  the time  to evaluate  the FeatherNet PRO!
  6.             v1.10 Bulletin  Board System.   Many thousands  of hours and much
  7.             sweat has gone into producing this quality BBS package.   We have
  8.             every bit of confidence  that you will agree it is among the best
  9.             world wide.

  11.             We, at FeatherNet  Software, Inc., have  and will always  support
  12.             the  concept  of  the  Shareware  distribution  system.   We have
  13.             released to the public many  fine FREEWARE TSR utilities for  the
  14.             SysOp as well as quality Shareware utilities and Doors.  We  have
  15.             been Sysops and do realize that there are a lot of utilities  and
  16.             other programs  that are  not worth  the disk  space they occupy.
  17.             That is why we support the "Try Before You Buy", concept.

  19.             We think you will agree  that when someone does find  a shareware
  20.             program of use, and uses it to complete a job or continues to run
  21.             it, they should register it.   This supports the authors and also
  22.             encourages them to continue development.

  24.             Unfortunately, we also know this  is not the case with  everyone.
  25.             For this reason we have had to impose a few small limitations  on
  26.             our SHAREWARE  release to  help encourage those who might  other-
  27.             wise try to abuse our hard work.

  30.             evaluate FeatherNet PRO! v1.10 ShareWare.

  32.             IMPORTANT!  FeatherNet PRO! is distributed in .ZIP format. If you
  33.             recieved this program and it was in any other archive format then
  34.             it will NOT install properly on your system!   If you can convert
  35.             the archive back to ZIP format, you will be ok.   If not,  please
  36.             give us a call and we will make a good copy available to you.

  38.             HARDWARE/MEMORY REQUIREMENTS:
  39.             Naturally the for any BBS is dependant upon the particular  conf-
  40.             iguration.  The prerequisites for the ShareWare  version is based
  41.             upon the Initial Installation:

  44.                  Hard Drive Space:   4.0 Meg (minimum)
  45.                  Memory:             512k if no EMS/XMS available

  47.                  NOTE:  If using EMS/XMS  and swapping, you may only  require
  48.                         as little as 384k during the memory  consuming  tasks
  49.                         of reading messages and entering messages.

  64.             The  shareware version of  FeatherNet  PRO! fully  supports up to
  65.             10 nodes with no restrictions!  It can  NOT  be registered.  When
  66.             registering, you have the option of selecting either a Single, 10
  67.             100 or the 250 node version.   Note that SHARE.EXE must be loaded
  68.             prior to running the shareware version of FeatherNet PRO!  due to
  69.             its  file locking even if you are only running a single node.

  72.             AT LOGON:
  73.             For the first 30 days there  will be a  5 second delay  when the
  74.             user logs on.   Once 30 days has  been reached, there will  be an
  75.             additional 5 second delay.

  82.             CONFERENCES:
  83.             FeatherNet PRO! can run as many as 4096 conferences.   There  are
  84.             no additional restrictions imposed on the shareware version.

  88.             FeatherNet PRO! v1.10 is able to handle 32,767 users.  There  are
  89.             no additional restrictions imposed on the shareware version.

  91.             Note:  Version 1.20 of FeatherNet PRO! will support a maximum  of
  92.                    2,147,483,647 users.

  94.             As you  can see the  only  difference in the ShareWare version is
  95.             the delay and "UNREGISTERED" notice displayed when a  caller logs
  96.             onto the bbs.
