CAPLNK94.ZIP - 05/28/94
■ Made a slight modification to the display of the rules to the potential
applicant. Actually it now follows a certian order.
CAPLNK93.ZIP - 02/26/94
=======================
■ In all information packets starting 03/01/94 there will be
some duplicate looking files; however, these are NOT duplicate
file, one set is a normal set -- no colors, the other has
PCBoard @X color codes for display purposes.
Thus, you must have the CAP_9403.ZIP file and later to use
this version of CAPLINK.PPE.
■ Added several new command to the program. You now have two
ways to active the CAPLink program. The first way is to
simply type CAPLINK at the main command prompt. This will
bring up a menu for you to select from.
The second way is to add command line parameters to the word
CAPLINK. Format: CAPLINK <parameter>.
RULES - This will bring the rules for CAPLink up
onto the screen.
NODES - This will bring the nodelist up onto the
screen.
APPLY - Will bring the application screen up.
PACKET - This will allow you to download the
latest CAPLink information packet.
■ Corrected a few display errors.
CAPLNK92.ZIP - 02/13/94
=======================
■ Correct an error in the CAPLINK.MNU file.
■ Added two modems to the MODEM.DSP file, and modified the
program to accept these two new modems. The two modems are
USR v.32terbo and Hayes 28.8 V.FC.
02/12/94 - CAPLINK PPE
======================
■ Several changes have been made to the CAPLink PPE program.
The first change is the name of the archive. The official
name of the archive is CAPLNKxx.ZIP. The xx represents the
version number(s).
■ Next, I have take and made all programs, the node list, rule
display, and the application program into one program. Here
is how it works.
CAPLINK APPLY - This command will bring the
application program up onto the
screen.
CAPLINK NODES - This command will bring the current
listing of systems that are
associated with CAPLink on the
screen and then take the user back
to the main menu of the CAPLink
program.
CAPLINK RULES - This command will bring the rules
for the next up onto the screen.
Once they have completed reading the
rules it will take them to the
CAPLink menu.
■ Also for this release I still have not finished the
documentation for the program. I should have that completed
within the next couple of weeks. Most likely when I get back
from Berlin. If you have any problems, please leave me a note
and we will get it straightened out.
■ Something else that I should bring up. The format for the
configuration file.
Line 1: This is the name of your system.
Line 2: This is a serial number. (NOT USED RIGHT NOW)
Line 3: The location of the CL-APPLY conference. This is
where all application are placed in.
Line 4: The location to where PKZIP can be found. You must
have PKZIP on your system for this program to work.
The CAPLINK.PPE shells out to DOS and calls PKZIP
to extract the information that is displayed to the
user.
01/17/94 - CAPLink & CAPNode PPE
=================================
■ Modified the routine that will unpack the archive. The first
release the archive was not check for dates that had a zero in
front of them. The release just before this one the was
*going* to be a problem with dates that had no zero in front
of them. All problems should be now corrected.
