Version 1.10

This is a nice looking, configurable pcboard byte bank. It uses tpa's
through pplc 2.0.
It gives you the ability to define the maximum bank bytes and maximum
daily withdraw/deposite bytes for each security on your board through
limits.cfg.

──────────═════════φ INSTALLATION φ══════════────────────
────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
■ Make sure you have unzipped the file with the -d option.
■ Add BANK.PPE to your cmd.lst. To do this take the following steps:
1 - run PCBSETUP
2 - Press B B
3 - Move to your CMD.LST file and press F2 to edit it.
4 - Enter BYTEBANK (or some name of your choice) as the command,
the security you want and the full path of BANK.PPE.
■ Create a TPA called 'BDEPOSITORY" with key 'BDEPOSIT' and a
static size of at least 30, no dynamic size is needed. If you don't
know how to exactly do this follow me:
1 - run PCBSM
2 - press D E
3 - Enter BDEPOSITORY as a name, '1' as the version, '30' as the
static size, '0' as the dynamic size and BDEPOSIT as the
keyword
■ Edit LIMITS.CTL to reflect the securities on your board and the KB
you want to allow for each security.

──────────═════════φ CONFIGURATION φ══════════────────────
────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
MENUS.CFG can be used to define different byte bank menus. One of these
will be displayed randomly by the byte bank. If you add new menus
you will not only have to add it to this file but you also will have
to create a new GRAPH\LB#.CFG to define the lightbar position on
the menu file (# is the new bank menu number).
LIMITS.CFG can be used to define the KBs for the different security
levels on your board. The maximum daily withdraw KB works on a daily
basis, not on a session basis like some other byte banks I've seen (i.e.
the byte bank remembers how much bytes the user has deposited/withdrawn
in previous sessions today).
Instead of trying to explain to you how to add new menus and totally
confusing you in the process I'll give an example:
Lets assume you want to add a second menu on top of the standard one:
■ First create the new display file GRAPH\BMENU2.
■ Edit MENUS.CFG change line 1 to 2 (# of menus defined)
and add a new line with the coordinates as you have
them setup in the display file.
■ Now you need to define the lightbars. Create the main
lightbar configuration file GRAPH\LB2.CFG (copy lb1.cfg)
and change the coordinates of the lightbar options to
fit the lightbar menu in GRAPH\BMENU2. Note that the
lightbars are read from the display file and the first
character of each option acts as a hotkey, so make sure
all first characters are different!!
If a user deposits some bytes they will be counted negative against
the daily withdraw, thus the user will always be able to withdraw
the bytes that he has deposited today in case he changes his mind (and
on top of that he will still be able to withdraw the maximum daily
withdraw amount as defined in limits.ctl).

If you find any bugs or have any comments/suggestions/additions you
want you can contact me at MaFIA Godfather WHQ under handle El GaTO or
mail me on internet at: an42144@anon.penet.fi
I've been having problems with the anon server. Not only has it gotten
too slow but it also doesn't allow reasonably big files (>40K) to be
mailed through it. So if you want me to send you the newest version of
this or any other of my PPEs send me your non anonymous address, and I
will forward you the files. Alternatively you can also get the newest
versions at wuarchive.wustl.edu in directory /pub/MSDOS_UPLOADS/ppe.
If anyone knows of any better (internet) places to put these I'm open
to suggestions.
