  14.      Please feel free to distribute WordJournal to your friends and to
  15.      upload it to bulletin boards.  If you zip the WordJournal files
  16.      for uploading be sure to include all of the files listed in the
  17.      manual and name the zip file: WJ11.ZIP to distinguich it from other
  18.      versions.

  21.  STARTING THE PROGRAM

  23.      If you added the sub directory where you installed WordJournal to the
  24.      DOS search path, you can start WordJournal from any directory. Just
  25.      type WJ at the command line and press [ENTER]:

  27.      C:>WJ  [ENTER]

  29.      If the DOS search path does not contain the WordJournal directory,
  30.      then you will need to change to it first:

  32.      C:\> CD \WJ

  34.      Then start the program:

  39.  PRINTING THE MANUAL
  40.  
  41.      The user manual for WordJournal is in an ASCII file called WJ.DOC.
  42.      You can print it out on any printer with the DOS Print command.

  45.  REGISTRATION AND BENEFITS
  46.  
  47.      WordJournal is a shareware (try before you buy) program. If you find
  48.      it useful, you are required to send a registration fee to The Software
  49.      Cobbler at the above address.
  50.  
  51.      The basic registration fee is $20 and licenses the use of the software
  52.      on not more than one computer at any one time. The registration fee
  53.      includes: a registered copy of the software that doesn't include the
  54.      opening registration reminder screen or the "Register" menu, a printed
  55.      manual, notification of and discounts on new releases when they are
  56.      available.

  58.      Payment can be made by personal check, money order, VISA, MasterCard or
  59.      American Express.

  61.      For $35, a more advanced version is available called WordJournal EX,
  62.      additional features include:
  63.  
  64.          1. Global text search, finds and tags entries with specified
  65.             text.
  66.  
  67.          2. ASCII text file Import and Export
  68.  
  69.          3. Batch printing of entries in a specified date range, all
  70.             entries or tagged entries only. Printing may include entry
  71.             dates, times and comments depending on user specification.
  72.  
  73.      WordJournal can print a registration form for you. Choose
  74.      "Print Form" from the Register menu. The Print Form dialog box will
  75.      also print a pre-addressed envelope. All you will need to do is
  76.      fill out the registration form, fold the paper, tape it, write your
  77.      return address and add a stamp.

  79.      The registration form can also be found in the REGISTER.DOC file. It
  80.      can be printed easily from the DOS command prompt as follows:
