  8.     DataVu 1.1 is a menu driven, programmable, plotting program,
  9. developed by Olympic Software.  DataVu reads, manipulates, plots and
  10. prints properly formatted ASCII data files, under DOS on IBM or
  11. compatible PCs.  Its comprehensive plot features include multiple
  12. coordinate systems (x,y plots, polar, surface, contour, etc.), single
  13. or dual screens, linear, log, and modulo scales, multiple line and marker
  14. types, value reading, annotation, and exporting to PCX, IMG, TIFF, and
  15. WPG pixel files.  DataVu supports CGA, EGA and VGA graphics standards and
  16. EPSON, IBM, C.ITOH, OKIDATA dot matrix, and HP Laser printers.  DataVu
  17. constitutes an effective tool for any application requiring visual
  18. representation of data, especially for applications which are
  19. engineering or scientific in nature.

  21.      DATAVU11.SDN decompressed in its own sub-directory generates
  22. the main DataVu executable DV.EXE and all support files including
  23. SETUP.BAT and DATAVU.DOC.  Follow these easy steps to install
  24. DataVu to your Hard Drive:
  25. 1.  Create Subdirectory on your Hard Drive, ie. "md c:\datavu"
  26. 2.  Copy DATAVU11.SDN from the floppy to your DataVu
  27.      subdirectory, ie. "copy a:datavu11.sdn c:\datavu"
  28. 3.  Go to DataVu subdirectory, ie. "cd\datavu", and decompress
  29.      DATAVU11.SDN using the ARJ decompression software
  30. 4.  DataVu 1.1 will decompress to DV.EXE and all supporting files
  31. 5.  Run SETUP.BAT to create configuration files for DV.EXE
  32. 6.  Now, you are ready to run DV.EXE
