  10. The Calling Tree is a database aimed at helping and organization that needs
  11. to track its members in a hierarchical manner.  Meaning... At the very top
  12. there is one person who is the beginning of an organization of some nature
  13. or another.  He/She has some function or responsibility where they have to
  14. contact one or more people directly and those people then have a function or
  15. responsibility to contact others directly under them.  And so on down through
  16. the tree.  It might be an emergency calling system for some emergency response
  17. effort, or some simple contact tree to keep club members up to date on meeting
  18. changes, or for a large network marketing organization want to track all the
  19. people downline from them.

  21. The Calling Tree supports...
  22.  
  23.     1) Add as many people as your disk drive can hold
  24.     2) Can automatically assign members to the next available Family Que.
  25.     3) Delete anyone (Any associated downline will automatically compress
  26.        up to the next level.
  27.     4) Move any member to any other member's Family Que.
  28.        (If a member has a downline, Optionally move the their downline with
  29.         them or let their downline compress up to the next level)
  30.     5) Track up to 6 phone numbers
  31.        (Day, Night, Cellular, Fax, Voice Mail, Pager)
  32.     6) Track up to 4 dates
  33.     6) Several print out options, including ability to print out multiple
  34.        layers of Family Ques for maximum contact capability
  35.     7) Dial any phone number directly from the screen (Registered Copies Only)
  36.     8) Work on data subsets based on search and retrieval phrases or key words.
  37.     9) Quick Key views of whole database, member's Family Que
  38.    10) Quick Key step up/down through tree.
  39.    11) Print outs are to a default printer (Epson Compatible on system printer
  40.        port)

  46. │ INSTALLING THE CALLING TREE ON YOUR HARD DRIVE                             │

  49.   Copy the distribution file to a NEW directory on your harddrive
  50.   then type ZTREE14 to have it automatically self extract from its compressed
  51.   distribution file.

  53.   If this is an upgrade to an older version then read the CT.DOC file for
  54.   instructions on how to convert your old data files to this new version.

  56.   Helpful    This program is a database that, for a fair portion of its
  57.   Hints:     operations, does a lot of disk drive accessing.  You will
  58.              notice a dramatic difference in speed if you are using a
  59.              good disk caching program with read and write enabled.

  66.   To start type 'CT' then Enter.
  67.  
  68.   The Calling Tree will take you directly to the set up and configure screen.
  69.   While in the configuration screen, you might take a moment to make sure your
  70.   Auto Build is set to your liking.  If you set it to 'Y' it will automatically
  71.   assign new members for you.  (You may always manually assign someone using
  72.   the [F4]key. Manually assigned people will override the Auto Build function.)

  74.   Once you have completed this step, press the ESC key to get to the Main
  75.   Menu.  From there just start entering (Option 1)) your tree members.

  78.   This is Shareware.  As shareware you are permitted to make as many copies as
  79.   you desire and distribute these copies freely.  You may not charge more that
  80.   $8 per disk for this service and that fee only covers your service effort.
