  12. VidSwitch 1.4c - If you frequently change your video resolution
  13. you need VidSwitch! VidSwitch learns the settings for your
  14. various drivers and allows a quick change from one resolution
  15. to another. Much simpler and quicker than using Windows setup!

  37. INSTALLATION
  38.  
  39. Run INSTALL.EXE. All distribution files will be copied to the directory of your choice 
  40. (.VBX and .DLL files will be placed in your Windows/System directory).

  43. **UPGRADING**
  44.  
  45. If you are upgrading from version 1.3 or older, run the new version and delete all recorded video
  46. modes. Then use Windows SETUP to switch to another mode. You may now go through the process 
  47. of re-recording your video modes in VidSwitch. This process is necessary due to a bug in 
  48. older versions that prevented the correct font information from being written to 
  49. WIN.INI and sometimes resulted in incorrect font sizing.

  52. BUGS, INCOMPATIBILITY
  53.  
  54. VidSwitch has been tested with all standard Windows video drivers. We cannot
  55. guarantee compatibility with every video driver in circulation. If VidSwitch
  56. causes problems with your display, simply reboot your machine and go to your
  57. Windows directory in DOS and type SETUP. You can then change back to the previous
  58. video driver that was current before you used VidSwitch. PLEASE let us know if 
  59. you have any problems and what type of driver you have so that we can update 
  60. VidSwitch as needed.
