  4. │     NOTE:  This is only a "first look" at Sapphire.  It runs in "local"     │
  5. │     mode, without using the modem.   Some functions  (such as doors and     │
  6. │     file transfer) can not be used until you fully configure Sapphire.      │

  8. │     If this is the  first time  you have run Sapphire, it will create a     │
  9. │     few files when it starts up.  This takes less than a minute.            │
  10. │                                                                             │
  11. │     For this demonstration,  you will be  signed on  AUTOMATICALLY.  In     │
  12. │     regular operation, however, you will sign on as "SYSOP".                │
