  3. NUGU - REGISTRATION

  5. (This program should work with version 3.1 or later.  It 
  6. may work with 3.0...  Perhaps a kind soul out there will 
  7. try it and let me know...)

  9. Please follow the instructions below.  
  10.  
  11. This is a SHAREWARE product.  The help files and 
  12. programs are copyrighted and are not free.   As a 
  13. computer user YOU have the option to USE or NOT USE 
  14. this software.  Five days or five ACCESS SESSIONS are 
  15. suggested as reasonable testing/evaluation efforts for 
  16. this product.

  18. After unpacking the files (I suggest that  you place them 
  19. in their own directory) you should try out this software.  
  20. From the DOS prompt ('C:\>') just type 'TRIAL' to test the 
  21. software...

  23.         i.e.   C:\>\NUGU\TRIAL

  25. Performance Suggestions
  26. -----------------------
  27. If you have a machine that is running at less than 25 mhz  
  28. you may want to place the files in a RAM drive.  This will 
  29. give you a significant performance boost...   I do not 
  30. suggest that you use this software from a floppy drive 
  31. (unless you enjoy waiting. :) )  The help file in this 
  32. package contains over 800 KB of data that has been 
  33. compressed to help save disk space.

  35. The registered version comes with an installation program 
  36. (but I don't think that you really need one - just follow 
  37. the directions in your manual for Windows (tm)).

  39. You may register using one of the options below:

  55. Of course, you may send the $25 individual fee if you would 
  56. like the registered version of the program.  My definition 
  57. of a teacher/educator includes persons who: (1) work for a 
  58. public or private K-12 institutions in a CLASSROOM teaching 
  59. position, (2) any college or university classroom 
  60. instructor and (3) ANY media specialist (we used to call 
  61. them librarians...) in any library that is open to the 
  62. public.

  64.   I consider ANYONE who is enrolled in college and ACTIVELY 
  65. pursuing a degree (i.e. BS, MS, etc.) to be a student.  
  66. 'Workshop' or 'seminar' students do not meet this 
  67. requirement and should register (i.e. the term of study 
  68. does not lead to a degree - it is a 'short course'.)

  70. THIS SOFTWARE MAY NOT BE USED AS COURSE MATERIAL ON ANY 
  71. LEVEL WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF THE AUTHOR.  An INSTRUCTIONAL 
  72. version is available from the author.

  75. to registered users.
