  1.        (M)essage System

  3.             Displays message subsystem menu as follows:

  5.             (B)ackward Read
  6.  
  7.                  Asks caller for starting a message number.  If ENTER is
  8.                  pressed MEGAHOST will start with the last message.  The
  9.                  message database is then traversed backwards.
  10.  
  11.             (E)nter Message
  12.  
  13.                  Allows caller to enter a message in the message
  14.                  database. You may leave both public and private
  15.                  messages. A conference must then be specified.  Refer
  16.                  to (E)NTER MESSAGE in Caller Menu Options for editing
  17.                  options.
  18.  
  19.             (F)orward Read
  20.  
  21.                  Asks caller for starting a message number.  If ENTER is
  22.                  pressed MEGAHOST will start with the first message.
  23.                  The message database is then traversed forwards.
  24.  
  25.             (G)oodbye Logoff
  26.  
  27.                  Asks you if you really want to log off.  If you say no,
  28.                  you will find yourself out of the Message System.

  30.             (I)ndividual Read

  32.                  Allows caller to read one message by message number.

  34.             (M)essage Area
  35.  
  36.                  Selecting any conference other than ALL will limit the
  37.                  viewing of messages to the chosen conference.

  39.             (N)ew Messages
  40.  
  41.                  If the UserLog facility has been enabled and the caller
  42.                  is recognized by the system (he has an entry in the
  43.                  .CNF file) then (N)ew Messages will start forward
  44.                  displaying messages left since the last time he was on.
  45.                  If not, (N)ew Messages will start forward displaying
  46.                  messages one month prior to the current date.

  48.             (P)ause Toggle

  50.                  With (P)ause ON the caller may be able to (A)nswer,
  51.                  (D)elete, and (E)dit messages depending upon the
  52.                  callers security.  These choices are given after each
  53.                  message is displayed.  If the caller wishes to capture
  54.                  messages very quickly the (P)ause should be toggled
  55.                  OFF.  This mode is read-only as there is no provision
  56.                  for the above choices.

  58.             (Q)uit to Main
  59.  
  60.                  Returns caller to main menu.

  62.             (R)ebuild Database
  63.  
  64.                  Enables the SysOp to rebuild all of the index files.
  65.  
  66.             (S)earch Messages
  67.  
  68.                  Allows caller to search the To, From, and Subject
  69.                  fields of the message database.  Wildcard are NOT
  70.                  permitted.

  72.             (Y)our Mail
  73.  
  74.                  Displays messages that are either From you or To you
  75.                  starting with the first message.
  76.  
  77.             (X)pert Mode
  78.  
  79.                  Toggles expert mode.
