  15.    Shareware distributors (and diskette vendors) may distribute copies of the
  16.    software package provided that:

  18.     1. All of the files are distributed together and without ANY changes.

  20.     2. No additions are made to the archived .ZIP file.

  22.     3. No charge is made, except for a reasonably small fee for media and
  23.        handling.

  26.        catalogs or any other related literature.

  31.        package without a written agreement with the author.

  44.    send a letter containing the company name, mailing address, the name(s) of
  45.    the person(s) to contact (such as the disk librarian), and the name of the
  46.    program for which the request is being made.

  49.    author with a copy of each new catalog where the software is listed.  The
  50.    author reserves the right to cancel this automatic update program without

  83.    5. Suggested long program Description:
  84.  
  85.       LOAD permits the loading of a device driver directly from the DOS-command
  86.       line without having to edit the CONFIG.SYS file and rebooting the system.
  87.       For character (but not block) device drivers, LOAD provides the option of
  88.       installing the device drivers in the upper memory area, i.e., below 1,024
  89.       KB, the upper 086 memory limit of DOS, and above 640 KB, the IBM hardware
  90.       barrier, known as UMA, to preserve conventional memory (except for a 1-KB
  91.       resident gateway).  UMA loading requires an XMS manager 2+ and DOS 3+.
  92.  
  93.       A device driver LOADed directly from the DOS command line can be unlinked
  94.       from the driver chain and removed from memory with the associated utility
  95.       UnLOAD, or by selecting switch U of LOAD to release the allocated memory.
  96.       Hence, LOAD/UnLOAD allow for treating device drivers simply as a resident
  97.       programs that can be installed and uninstalled on the fly.
