  1.   This file accompanies Guess for Windows v1.3.02 and should be kept for
  2. future reference.

  4.   If GUESS.EXE refuses to run because it can't find a file called THREED.VBX
  5. or VBRUN300.DLL, do the following:
  6.   -Move the file to your \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.
  7.   -If you do not have these files, ask for them where ever you got Guess.

  9.   If GUESS.EXE refuses to run due to lack of resources:
  10.   -Save all work in other applications and restart Windows.
  11.  
  12.   THREED.VBX and VBRUN300.DLL need to be located in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM
  13. directory. These files are Copyright ⌐ Microsoft and may be copied freely.

  15.   Guess for DOS v1.0 is Copyright Chris Uhl, 1993. As a derived work, Guess
  16. for Windows v1.0 and all subsequent revisions are also Copyright. You are
  17. granted specific licence to copy and use both games. You are given further
  18. licence to modify and distribute Guess for DOS v1.0 as long as my original
  19. copyright message appears. Chris Uhl, the author of both games DISCLAIMS
  20. ALL WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WITHOUT LIMITATION. THE USE OF SAID
  21. PROGRAMS MEANS ACCEPTANCE OF THE LICENCE AGREEMENT.

  23.   The archived copies of Guess must be distributed en masse. The conversion
  24. to other archived forms is discouraged. The addition of comments within the
  25. archived form is acceptable, as long it does not increase the overall dis-
  26. tribution size dramatically.
