  2.           MUTUAL FUNDamentals is a directory/tutorial  which  provides
  3.           information  on over 1,000 mutual funds.  It contains names,
  4.           addresses,  toll-free  phone  numbers,  sales  charges,  and
  5.           historical return data covering  one, three, five, and eight
  6.           year periods.  It also contains information to teach you the
  7.           basics of mutual fund investing:  what  a  mutual  fund  is,
  8.           categories  of funds, advantages of mutual funds, a glossary
  9.           of terms, and more.  It is really a book on a computer disk.
  10.           
  11.           To select a "chapter", from the  main menu simply use the up
  12.           and down arrow keys to highlight the chapter you want,  then
  13.           press  the enter or return key which will open that specific
  14.           chapter.  While reading the chapter  you may use the PAGE UP
  15.           and PAGE DOWN keys to move up or down  through  the  chapter
  16.           one  page at a time.  You may also use the up and down arrow
  17.           keys to scroll the  chapter  one  line  at a time.  When you
  18.           reach the end of a chapter, press the escape key  to  return
  19.           to the main menu.

  21.           After you begin reading a  chapter, pressing the F1 key will
  22.           bring up a help screen.  This help screen will tell you  how
  23.           you may change the colors of the screen, turn the sound on &
  24.           off,  search  through  the  tutorial  for a specific word or
  25.           phrase, autoscroll the chapters and more.
  26.       
  27.           This program is  being  distributed  as shareware.  Although
  28.           copyrighted, shareware allows you to  "try  out"  a  program
  29.           before  you pay for it.  If you continue to use this program
  30.           longer  than  thirty  days  or  use  the  phone  numbers  or
  31.           addresses it provides  to  contact  the  various mutual fund
  32.           companies, you are required to register with the author.

  34.           When you register you  will  receive  a personalized copy of
  35.           the latest version of MUTUAL  FUNDamentals,  a  registration
  36.           number  and the legal right to continue using the program, a
  37.           32 page  brochure  describing  how  to  read  a  mutual fund
  38.           prospectus, a list of the fifty best  and  worst  performing
  39.           funds  for  the  prior  year,  a list of newsletters for the
  40.           mutual fund  industry,  and  a  copy  of  a  great shareware
  41.           program (UNregistered)  to  help  you  with  your  financial
  42.           well-being.

  44.           The  cost  to  register  is  only $12.00 prepaid by check or
  45.           money order.  To register,  from  the main menu select PRINT
  46.           ORDER  FORM.   Follow  the  on-screen  directions  and  your
  47.           printer will automatically print the form containing all the
  48.           information we need.  Send it  along  with  payment  to  the
  49.           address provided on the form.  If you do not have a printer,
  50.           simply  write or type your name, address, disk size required
