  1. DropPop version 1.0
  2. An addin utility for Dropper
  3.  
  4. Yes, now you can have not only icons on your desktop representing applications,
  5. but icons on your desktop that call up menus full of more icons representing
  6. applications or documents!
  7.  
  8. This is the first released version of DropPop; the only known bug is that
  9. keyboard shortcuts don't work in the DropPop Menu Configuration dialog.
  10. Please inform me of any bugs or feature wishes...

  12. To install: (this assumes you already have and are familiar with Dropper)
  13. First of all, copy DROPPOP.EXE to anywhere you'd like to have it; C:\WINDOWS
  14. is a good location if you don't want to put it anywhere else.  Copy the file
  15. DROPPOP.HLP to the same directory, or you will be unable to access help.
  16. Now, use File Manager to drop at least one DROPPOP.EXE onto your desktop;
  17. this will become your menu.  Click on this icon; you will be presented with
  18. some startup info.  Fill in a few blanks and you're off!

  20. This will result in a blank menu.  Clicking on it will show only the Config
  21. icon.  Drop more files from File Manager onto the menu icon, and they will
  22. show up in the menu the next time you click on its icon.  View the Help file
  23. for more information (press F1 while the menu is displayed, or enter Config
  24. mode and click Help...).
