  15. Thank you for evaluating "Car Restoration Diary"!

  17. The first time you run the "Car Restoration Diary" program, it will create 
  18. all of the necessary database and index the files.  This will take quite a 
  19. few minutes, but it will only do this the first time.  The next time you 
  20. call the program, it will come up much quicker.
  21.  
  22. This program must be installed on the hard drive, with at least 2 megabytes 
  23. of free drive space (the installation program will check for this).

  25. You will need to check the FILES and BUFFERS settings in your CONFIG.SYS 
  26. file (the install program will check this also, and give you the 
  27. opportunity to modify it you want to).  If you don't already have at least 
  28. 20 FILES and 20 BUFFERS, please change these lines accordingly:

  30.         FILES=20
  31.         BUFFERS=20
  32.  
  33. The installation program will make the necessary adjustments to your 
  34. CONFIG.SYS file if you allow it to. If you don't, then you will need to 
  35. make the changes manually.

  37. You will need to reboot your system in order for these changes to take 
  38. effect.
