  18. This one's from the PC section (i think you've figured that out!)
  19. We don't plan to ever win any compo's, or earn any eternal glory ;) ...
  20. We want to have FUN! And we sure do. However - we started working on the
  21. demo in August -93, and many things have disappeared and been inserted to the
  22. demo since... But... We released it at The Party -93, and here it is!!!

  24. Yeah btw... The demo doesn't care about what you enter in the Setup - it runs
  25. with Ultrasound. If you don't have an ultrasound, then you won't get any
  26. music whatsoever! (Hi Excalibur!!!!!!!!)... BUT... However...
  27. There is a file called LOADER.CFG... Because the demo unpacks itself between
  28. every part. Oh yeah, one more thing. You'll need at least 1mb free harddisk
  29. space to run the demo! Preferably 2mb... The unpacking is so lame that it
  30. writes the file to disk! FAN VA LAME!

  32. Yeah, loader.cfg... The loader reads the FIRST byte of that file to know 
  33. how much to unpack before updating the scroll... If you have a 486dx-33 or
  34. 486dx-40, leave the file alone. Otherwise - READ the file! Full instructions
  35. in there.

  37. The demo starts with just... 'DEMO' !!! Just type demo and it will load
  38. and run... Enter anything in the setup except Soundblaster or any shit like
  39. that - then you'll have to answer such a lot of questions! We planned to have
  40. both SB and SBPRO support, but when we saw how slow the demo was, we changed
  41. our mind, but we didn't have time to fix the setup (30 minutes to deadline!).

  48. The demo has been timed for a 486dx-40 with LocalBus SVGA card...
  49.  
  50. We STRONGLY recommend a math coprocessor, already inside all 486dx's but no
  51. SX's... If you have a 486sx-25 or 33, most things will be fine EXCEPT the
  52. vectors. Don't blame us! ;) If you have a 386sx, the demo will REALLY suck.
  53. Now you are warned.

  55. A GUS is strongly recommended - tho if you don't have one it's not very hard
  56. to rip them. And we don't care. They're not 'destroyed' or coded in any way,
  57. just packed. Try searching for M.K. before you've unpacked the demo manually!
