_____ INSTRUCTIONS _____
The object of the game is to remove ALL cards from the pyramid.
From the available cards, discard pairs of cards that total THIRTEEN (13), or
a KING by itself, by entering the position of the card(s) to be removed. The
position numbers are located in the lower right hand corner of each card.
There is no need to press ENTER, UNLESS you enter a single-digit postion.
At the outset, the seven cards of the last row and the DECK card are available
for play. The removal of any two adjacent cards uncovers one card in the row
above, in the pyramid. Each card WHOLLY uncovered becomes available for play.
In addition to the cards in the pyramid, you can use the DECK and DISCARD
positions when choosing cards that add up to THIRTEEN. You turn cards from the
DECK one at a time. Each time you turn a card from the DECK (using the '+'
command or ENTER key), the previous card on the deck is moved to the DISCARD
pile. When a card is removed from the DISCARD pile, the next card in the pile
is made available for play.
The "*" toggle will turn the HotKey ON or OFF. This option is used to control
whether you want the following options in effect or not. This option and those
it controls, require the door to be registered!
If HOT KEY is ON then:
When you enter a card number, for the first choice, that is a King, you
will not have to Press Enter multiple times. If the card number entered
is a single digit, only one <ENTER> will be required, double digit number
will not require <ENTER> to be pressed.
You can use the ENTER key to draw a card from the deck as well as being
able to use the "+" key. This will make playing the game a little easier
and faster.
In summary: (1) You may choose either 1 or 2 exposed cards that add up to 13.
(2) Removal of all cards in the pyramid earns a BONUS of 1000 pts.
(3) Card values range from KING (13 points) to the ACE (1 point).
A KING must be removed by itself.
(4) When you have used ALL cards in the DECK AND no more matches
exist, enter a 'Q' to signal the end of the game. All
accumulated points will be saved.
(5) If you enter a 'Q' AND cards remain in the DECK, you will be
returned to the BBS WITHOUT saving any accumulated points.
