Thank you for taking Tikler for a "test drive"!
This is an evaluation copy of Tikler. You are free to pass it along to
others. If, after a reasonable evaluation period (usually 60 days), you
find Tikler to be useful and continue to use it, you are required to
register with the author. See the files TIKLER.DOC, REGISTER.TXT and
ORDERFRM.TXT for registration information. Site licenses are available
as well, at generous discounts. Refer to the file SITELIC.DOC for
additional information.
Your disk contains a file named TIKLER.DOC which is the complete users
manual for the program. It's about 20 pages long. To print the manual,
insert the disk into your A: floppy drive and type:
COPY A:TIKLER.DOC PRN
If you insert the disk into a drive other than A:, substitute that drive
letter in the example shown above.
INSTALLATION and QUICK START:
Tikler can be installed in any existing directory, or into a directory you
create especially for it. It's best suited, however, for installation into
the ROOT directory of your main (the one your computer boots from) hard disk.
Just insert the Tikler diskette and copy all of the files into the
desired directory.
Once all of the files have been copied, change to the directory where you've
copied them and type TIKLER to run the program. This will start Tikler in
the non-TSR mode so you can have a chance to play with it a bit.
Refer to the manual described above for information regarding the many
installation and operating options that Tikler has.
