  9. and new features added to RPM since the manual was published.

  16. RPM File Browser
  17.  
  18. RPM now uses a home-grown file browser to preview reports files etc.
  19. rather than the system editor. The file browser requires no memory
  20. and will therefore always work. The editor can require substantial
  21. amounts of memory. (The editor is only used now to edit notes.)
  22.  
  23. Hot Keys
  24.  
  25. Most RPM menus now support hot keys. The use of hot keys has
  26. necessitated a structure change in some menus, most notably the
  27. Projects menu in the Spreadsheet.

  29. Spreadsheet scrolling
  30.  
  31. Improvements have been made in the scrolling of spreadsheets which
  32. are larger than the view area in the Spreadsheet screen.

  34. EMM Support

  36. If your system has an Expanded Memory Manager, RPM will load much
  37. of its data into expanded memory. This increases RPM's
  38. potential projects capacity to well over 1,000!

  40. Color Customization

  42. New options in the System screen allow you to customize the
  43. colors used by RPM.

  45. New Command Line Options
  46.  
  47. Enter RPM /h to review new command line options. Most significantly,
  48. you may enter a projects file to be loaded at the command line.

  50. Support for Sub-Contractors
  51.  
  52. Sub-contractor support allows you to attach a flat dollar fee to
  53. a phase. The dollar fee may be spread over time in a number of ways.

  64. RPM is supplied with two calendars, one for the USA and one for
  65. Canada.  The holidays in the RPM U.S. and Canadian calendars have been set as
  66. indicated by the asterisks (*) following the name of the holiday in the
  67. first column of the tables that follow.

  69. In the case of a holiday falling on a Saturday or Sunday, the following
  70. Monday has been set as a holiday in the RPM calendar, but the holiday
  71. listings have not been changed.   The user should set either calendar
  72. within the RPM program in accordance with the firm's regional, state or
  73. province, and company specific holiday policy.  See your RPM User's Guide
  74. on how to set up your program's holiday calendar dates.

  76. For your convenience, the two tables that follow are contained in two
  77. separate files called HOLIDAYS.USA and HOLIDAYS.CAN.  To print these
  78. files, just copy them to your printer.  E.G., enter:
