All rights to the Prince of Persia program belong to the
company who designed the game. This is THEIR trademark.
Please purchase your own copy of Prince of Persia, and do NOT
pirate the game. The game took many long hours to develop,
and the author should be rewarded for doing so. Use of this
assisting program is ILLEGAL without owning a registered copy
of the game. REGISTER Prince of Persia NOW!!!
Note: This program is intended for those who have taken it
upon themselves to buy and register Prince of Persia II(tm).
It is important to register the software if you use it, to help
support the many programmers, so they can continue to create
software in the future. Please Register, use of it elsewise
is not right, and is most likely not authorized!
PP2 Editor
~~~~~~~~~~
This program may be used by any legal owners of Prince of
Persia II, and should be registered. Have fun, and good
luck.
I have written the editor, because I have a hard time getting
past a few levels, when I seem to be running out of time.

The following files should be found in the original compressed
file:
pp2ed01b.zip Original compressed file.
pp2ed.exe Executable PP2 Editor. Dos version.

pp2ed.exe /Gn [options] file.in file.out
Defaults: (file.in = prince.sav) (file.out = prince.sav)
Options: (not case sensitive; no particular order)
/Cm:n Copy game m -> game n (/G NOT required)
/D[a] Delete current game
a - Delete current and all succeeding games
/Gn Game, where n=1-10 (REQUIRED)
/H Help
/Iccc Insert game named ccc (10 chars max.)
/Ln Level, where n=1-12 (>12 not recommended)
/Nccc Name (10 chars max.)
/Pn Potion, where n=1-12
/S Summary of games
/Tn Time, where n=1-75
Example: pp2ed.exe prince.sav prince.out /g4 /iGame4 /l9 /p12 /t75
Inserts Game4 into fourth game of prince.sav, at level 9
with 12 potions and 75 minutes. Saved as prince.out

Defaults
~~~~~~~~
The default values used are game 1, level 3, potion 12, time 75.
The default files are:
prince.sav - input file
prince.sav - output file
The first option not preceded by a '/' will be defaulted to the
input file, and must be a valid file name. The second option
that is not preceded by a '/' is defaulted to the output file,
and must be a valid file name. If the output file name is in the
directory specified, the file will be overwritten!
Options
~~~~~~~
All options may be specified in any order, as long as a space
seperates each of the options. The options may precede the
filenames, be between the file names, or may succeed the file
names, if they are specified.
/Cm:n Copies a game that is currently saved. If the source
game does not exist, and error will occur. If the
destination game exists, it will be overwritten.
m - source game
n - destination game
/D[a] Deletes a game specified by the /Gn option. If the game
specified does not exist, an error will occur.
[a] - (optional) deletes all games after and including
the game specified by /Gn option.
/Gn Specifies current game to be modified. If this option is
not specified, all modifications will be defaulted to
game 1. Valid games are from 1-10.
n - game number.
/H (optional) Displays the help screen. Equivilent to specifying
no options at the command prompt.
/Iccc Inserts a game specified by the /Gn option. If this game
already exists, an error will occur.
ccc - Name of the game (maximum of 10 characters).
/Ln Changes the game specified by the /Gn option to a different
level. Valid levels are from 1-15. The default values are
level 1, 3 potions and 75 minutes.
n - level number.
/Nccc Changes the name of the game specified by the /Gn option.
If no name is given, an error will occur.
ccc - Name of the game (maximum of 10 characters).
/Pn Changes the number of energy potions for a game specified
by the /Gn option.
n - Number of potions (valid are from 1-15).
Note: use of more than 12 potions is not recommended.
/S Displays a summary of all games.

/Tn Changes the amount of time left for a game specified by
the /Gn option.
n - Time in minutes (valid from 1-75 minutes).
