│ | CPUPAPER is a wildcat SysOp utility which provided | │

* CREATE COMPUTER PAPER DISPLAY - CPUPAPER has an option to convert
any ASCII file similar to the logo displayed above. It will
also used the color green and white to simulate a green bar
paper
* REMOVE ALL OR PARTIAL WILDCAT CODES - This program have the
capability to strip any WILDCAT codes (@xxx@). This option is
handy to remove all the color code before converting the file to
a computer paper display type.
* EXCELLENT VIEW OPTION - With this program you can view all ANSI,
ASCII and text file. When viewing, it will also replace
WILDCAT, Droppers and TOMSTAT codes with real information,
support for @IF@ - @ELSE@, etc. You can also emulate several
terminal emulation: like viewing ANSI files in black and white,
viewing ANSI file that doesn't support ANSI characters, view any
files with ANSI music, etc. All the necessary option in order
to see what the user will see.
* EDIT OPTION - Use your favorite editor
* FILE DESCRIPTION - CPUPAPER file information data base contain most
of the related bbs file. The following information are available:
File descriptions (77 characters max), who created the file and
the correct location of the file. This option will help you
keep track of each file and if it's on the correct directory.
It also useful in cleaning up the bbs directory by removing
unwanted files (DON'T FORGET TO BACKUP).
* SEVERAL DOS OPTION - The following dos options are available so you
don't have to exit out of the program: Create a backup file,
delete a file and rename a file.
* WILDCAT IDLE PROGRAM - CPUPAPER uses only 120k memory and no overlay
which make it an excellent option for a quick startup program.
* DUAL CURSOR MOVEMENT - in order to provide quick keyboard response
use the arrow keys. To display file information noted above use
the numeric keys.
* MOUSE SUPPORT

INSTALLATION:
1] Copy CPUPAPER.EXE and CPUPAPER.DAT on your wildcat root dir.
Will assume a dir name of "C:\WC30\"
2] The first time you run the program you must specify
the /C parameter to configure the program.
CPUPAPER /C
3] It will ask you for your REGISTRATION ID. If your not
register just hit enter.
4] Then it will ask for your complete fullname for your editor.
You must specify the drive, path and editor name.
Sample: c:\util\edit.exe
5] And finally it will ask for your wildcat root dir.
Sample: c:\wc30
Note: You can always run CPUPAPER with option "/C" to
reconfigure.
CPUPAPER in action.
To run the program simply type CPUPAPER {options}.
Options:
/25 - Force 25 line video mode
/M - Force monochrome video mode
/H - Display all possible parameter
/C - Configure CpuPaper

In Fig 1 the cursor is at GOODBYE.BBS file. You must used the numeric keys
(8) and (2) in order for the program to display the file information.
Otherwise use the cursor keys to increase keyboard response time. Note:
When switching from numeric keys to cursor keys the file information might
not be correct because the screen is not being refresh. In this case you
must used the numeric keys at least twice to refresh the screen.
Recommendation: To achieve the most, use the cursor key to the file prior to
the target file, then switch to numeric keys to highlight the target file.

If you press the enter key while the cursor is at GOODBYE.BBS file, a second
menu will popup with the following option.
(B)ackup - This option will create a file called GOODBYE.BAK
(C)onvert to Computer paper
(D)elete GOODBYE.BBS
(E)dit GOODBYE.BBS
(N)ewname - This option will rename the file to whatever name you
wish.
(R)emove WILDCAT codes - This option will remove all or partial
WILDCAT codes. I recommend you use the [B] option prior
to using this option. Just in case.
(V)iew GOODBYE.BBS - This option will allow you to view the file
with several option to emulate all kind of caller's setup
Color Mode - If this option is set to NO, it will display
color ansi files in black and white. This is
what your user will see if they have a mono
display terminal or screen
Ansi Mode - If this option is set to NO, it will replace
extended ANSI codes with IBM code. This will
emulate callers who are using a communication
program that doesn't support extended ansi
codes, callers using E-7-1 Parameters and
other terminal emulation like VT52.
Music Mode - If this option is set to YES then it will play
all ansi codes music.
Profile - You specify the user profile. Great option
to check your WILDCAT code @IF@...@ELSE@..
