  18.         The following information is extracted from the online screens of
  19.         PEDIGREE.  There is no other documentation. 
  20.  
  21.         The purpose of PEDIGREE is to provide a means to create, maintain,
  22.         and  print 5-generation pedigree charts.  The program  is largely
  23.         self explanatory, leading the user through a series of menus for
  24.         working on a pedigree chart.  One of the menu items allows for the
  25.         import of data from a set of PAF data files.
  26.  
  27.         Most of the menus require that the user move a pointer to the
  28.         desired option then press the return key which selects the option. 
  29.         The program enables a person to install it for a particular
  30.         terminal and printer.  The printer must be able to print 8 lines
  31.         per inch vertically and at least 120 characters horizontally in 8
  32.         inches.  To install the program for a particular terminal execute
  33.         the program PEDINST.COM; the printer installation is done from
  34.         within the program.
