INGREDIENTS ------------------------------------------------------------
1 Apples - chopped - a peck
6 lb Beef
1 lb Suet - ground
3 lb Raisins - seedless
2 lb Currants
1 lb Citron
2 lb Brown sugar
1 qt Maple syrup
1 qt Cider - boiled
1 qt Spiced syrup - from peaches or pears
1 Tbsp Salt
1 qt Water
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Allspice
1 tsp Nutmeg
1 tsp Cloves
1 tsp Ginger
DIRECTIONS ------------------------------------------------------------
Cook until apples are tender and seal while hot.
Note: Would recommend consulting a current guide for canning as to
putting up mincemeat or any other canned product.
