Mister Clean for Windows
------------------------
Thank you for trying out Mister Clean. I hope you will find this
product useful and consider registering it. See the online help for
more information and an order form.
To get started, you may do one of two things. In the included archive
is an automated installation facility that will place all files in the
correct places and build an icon for Mister Clean. To do this, just
type INSTALL at the DOS prompt. However, if you are an advanced user
and want complete control over this process, then do the following:
1. Rename MRC.DAT to MRC.EXE and run it. This file is a self-extracting
archive.
2. Delete all files except GINSTALL.000
3. Rename GINSTALL.000 to GINSTALL.EXE and run it. This is another
self-extracting archive. Once this is complete, you may delete GINSTALL.EXE.
4. You should be left with the following files:
DISKINF DLL 3488 01-21-93 01:45p
THREED VBX 60720 10-21-92 12:00a
MRCLEAN EXE 18742 02-27-93 01:32p
MRCLEAN HLP 40411 03-18-93 09:01p
The first two files must be copied to your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory, and
the other two can be put anywhere you like as long as they are kept
together. Hopefully this isn't too much of a hassle, but the automatic
installation process is the only way assure less experienced users of a
successful installation.
Thanks again, and have fun.
