  1.             Mister Clean for Windows
  2.             ------------------------

  4. Thank you for trying out Mister Clean.  I hope you will find this 
  5. product useful and consider registering it.  See the online help for
  6. more information and an order form.
  7.  
  8. To get started, you may do one of two things.  In the included archive
  9. is an automated installation facility that will place all files in the
  10. correct places and build an icon for Mister Clean.  To do this, just
  11. type INSTALL at the DOS prompt.  However, if you are an advanced user
  12. and want complete control over this process, then do the following:
  13.  
  14. 1. Rename MRC.DAT to MRC.EXE and run it.  This file is a self-extracting
  15. archive.  
  16.  
  17. 2. Delete all files except GINSTALL.000
  18.  
  19. 3. Rename GINSTALL.000 to GINSTALL.EXE and run it.  This is another
  20. self-extracting archive.  Once this is complete, you may delete GINSTALL.EXE.

  22. 4.  You should be left with the following files:

  29. The first two files must be copied to your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory, and
  30. the other two can be put anywhere you like as long as they are kept
  31. together.  Hopefully this isn't too much of a hassle, but the automatic
  32. installation process is the only way assure less experienced users of a
  33. successful installation.
