Meters! requires like and strategy more than anything. The object? to
push up 3 'meters' all the way to the top. There are eleven meters on
the board (numbered 2 to 12), but you will only be able push up five of
them (being the first five you start with).
The game starts with the rolling of four dice. You must first make
2 pairs of dice, and the sum of each pair corresponds to a meter on the
board. A level in a meter is marked off every time you pair up to the
total of that particular meter. This continues until you reach the top
of 3 meters, or you lose because there are no combinations possible with
the dice that were rolled.
Obviously, some numbers will come up more than others, so each
meter is a different length (7 the longest, a more common number, and 2
and 12 the shortest, less common numbers). The point value of each meter
is also determined by it's length.
Choosing '0' instead of a die number will quit out of the game.
