  1. This is only a Beta release. Version 1.00 will not support Sound Blaster DAC
  2. emulation. This is planned for version 1.10.

  4. The registration fee is now lower than with previous versions of Mega-Em.

  14. Welcome to Mega-Em. Mega-Em is a Roland sound device emulator for your
  15. Gravis Ultrasound Card.
  16.  
  17. Please read section 1. of the users manual (MEGAEM.DOC).
  18. It is recommended you read through the manual before you use Mega-Em.
  19.  
  20. Quick notes: You must run MEGAEM.EXE, then EMUSET.EXE before any
  21.              emulation is active.
  22.  
  23.              Always run EMUSET between programs. This will reset Mega-Em
  24.              internally. Many games require the MT-32 to be in a power
  25.              on state to work correctly.
  26.  
  27.              Remove any debuggers from memory before loading Mega-Em.
  28.  
  29.              Mega-Em is shareware. Unregistered Mega-Em will only produce
  30.              sound output for 20 minutes after it is loaded. You will
  31.              have to uninstall Mega-Em from memory, then reload it if you
  32.              wish to use it again. See REGISTER.DOC for details on
  33.              registering.

  35.              Unregistered Mega-Em is slightly slower that the registered
  36.              form, due to the overhead required to regularly check the system
  37.              time.
