Leech Ver 6.9
by: James Fielden
FREEWARE
This is a complete rewrite of Leech. It has been updated and compiled using
Turbo Pascal 7.0, and now will run on most any type BBS. Leech is alittle
larger now and alittle more to set it up but it's still very easy to get
running and very low SysOp Maint. This Version is well worth Upgrading from
Older Version's of Leech.
Use this software at your Own risk!
Since Leech was first a WWIV game here is a qwick set-up for WWIV.
In Chain Edit do this:
A. Description :Leech Version 6.9
B. Filename :LECH.BAT
C. SL :10
D. AR :NONE
E. ANSI :Optional
F. DOS Interrupt:NOT USED
G. 300 Baud :Allowed
H. Shrink :NO
I. Disable pause:YES
This is LECH.BAT it should be in Your Main BBS directory.
@echo off
cd\leech <---- Where ever you have all the files for Leech
leech /PC:\BBS <---- Your Main BBS directory so Leech can find Chain.txt
cd\BBS
Next you need to edit the file leech.ctl any text editor will work.
It is explained in that file everthing you need to to make sure it's in
the same directory with leech.exe and all the other files.
And that's it So put up leech today if you need help I'll be more and glad to
help you set it up Your going play it alot. If you need me I can be mailed
on FidoNet at 1:3615/41.2 or on WWIVNet (615)681-3274 Edweird Strange
Have fun, and remember, a board that does not allow the use of handles is
not a BBS, but a lump of silicon being abused by a lump of festering sores!
Other BBS supported RBBS(dorinfo1.def), Wildcat, Spitfire, PC_Board and
QuickBBS. Also any BBS that can use dorinfo1.def
will be able to run Leech.
Sorry for not having setup's for other brands of BBS's but I don't know
much about other BBS's but I think you can get it from the above example.
Long Live the LLL!!!
