  7. The following boards are fully desktop oriented, or are known to have desktop
  8. publishing sections with files and/or clip art for download. Some have simply
  9. message base(s) or conference(s) devoted to desktop publishing. This listing
  10. includes updates received as of August 1, 1993 (hence the 08 in the filename).
  11. Updates are generally issued on a monthly basis, depending on deadlines and
  12. other time constraints.
  13.  
  14. By request, I am including descriptions of individual board offerings where
  15. available (i.e., conferences, file specialties, etc.). In doing this, however,
  16. I must emphasize that the correctness of this list lies with those who
  17. contribute information to it. I have neither the time (or the money) to
  18. personally verify the status of each of these boards. All I have is the desire
  19. to help those in the desktop community help each other.

  21. Please note that boards whose names begin with "The" are not automatically
  22. alphabetized under T. This is simply because a sysop may not always use "The"
  23. in front of the board's name, a situation that has too often led to double
  24. listings. Thus, boards here are listed by the proper name--i.e., The Aloha BBS
  25. in Hawaii is listed under A as Aloha BBS (The).

  27. Please feel free to upload this list to other boards you may visit. It's nice
  28. and small and certainly won't hurt your upload credits on boards that count
  29. such things. Also, the better the distribution of this list, the better the
  30. information in future editions will be.
