;DIRXMAKE.CFG:
; A Utility for CDMX2DOR, the NEXT GENERATION
; CDROM door.
;
; Note: This is for converting files.bbs's that have no file-date and
; file-size in them (such as the case with Maximus BBS files.bbs's
; to "dirx.lst" files that do have this data. If you are a Maximus
; BBS sysop you can convert your Maximus files.bbs's so that CDMX2DOR
; may access your HD files.bbs as if they were a CDRom. If you are
; not a Maximus BBS sysop, the outcome is the same if your system's
; files.bbs's do not normally have size/date in them. If they do,
; then you can use CDMX2DOR immediately with no need to translate.
;
; On this line you enter your default FULL PATH withOUT a backslash to
; indicate on what drive and subdirectory you are running DIRXMAKE.EXE.
C:\cdbob
;
; On this line you specify whether you want DIRXMAKE to delete the
; old dirx.lsts it finds on your C: drives. DIRXMAKE will not try to
; to do this on any other drive but C: and will leave these not-C:
; dirx.lsts alone. If you don't have DIRXMAKE delete these old
; dirx.lst files, then the new files.bbs translations will be named
; dirx.NEW and will be in the subdirectories with the files.bbs files
; DIRXMAKE translated along with the old dirx.lsts. If your files.bbs
; files have new information in them since the last time you ran
; DIRXMAKE, it is a good idea to have DIRXMAKE delete the old dirx.lsts
; on the fly. If you are not sure what DIRXMAKE will do with dirx.lsts
; and want to see, then it is probably a good idea to tell it NOT to
; delete the old dirx.lsts and, instead, to write dirx.NEWs. A "YES"
; on the next line deletes to old dirx.lsts and a "NO" will leave them
; and result in dirx.NEW files. This option is only for C:-drive-
; based files.bbs/dirx.lsts. If you are running DIRXMAKE on a not-C:-
; drive area, then the new file translations will all be put in the
; C:\DIRXMAKE subdirectory under the names of the subdirectories on
; the not-C:-drive where they were found. Instead of expecting to
; have files named "dirx.lst" on C:\DIRXMAKE, files here will have
; names like 002.LST, or AMIGA.LST or whatever (the files are, however,
; dirx.lst formatted in structure).
YES
;
; On the next line enter the FULL PATH WITH a backslash, e.g.,
; C:\max\files\ or E:\work\fax to the subdirectory which serves as
; the tree-trunk for all your other files.bbs files. If I have 25
; subdirectories heading off of this subdirectory and each of them
; have a files.bbs in them then that is is the FULL PATH WITH a
; backslash to enter here on this next line. (Note: DIRXMAKE will
; handle up to 290 subdirectories.) If your are working with a case
; where the root of the files.bbs tree is just a drive and
; not including any subdirectory, just enter the Drive/colon/backslash,
; e.g., D:\
C:\
;
; This next line regards whether your files.bbs's have download counters
; on each file or not. If you do, enter the left bracket type, e.g.,
; a "[" or a "{" or "(" or whatever you have. If you have no download
; counter, then enter a "$" on the next line.
[
;
; On this next line enter the width of your download counters including
; their brackets, e.g., [0000] = 6 characters wide. If you have no
; download counters, just enter a "0" on the next line.
6
; Now the rest of your lines are the branches off the above trunk that
; have files.bbs's in them. You must only state the name of the
; subdirectory, i.e., no slashes or any other punctuation. Just the
; names alone of the files-bbs-containing subdirectories. If they don't
; have files.bbs in them then the program will error. If your files.bbs
; has file names in them of files that are not literally on the subdir-
; ectory then this program will error. Double check to make sure your
; subdirectory entries here actually have files.bbs's and that the
; files.bbs's only have files described in them that are literally on
; the subdirectory.
