Purpose
Scratchpad creates a "permanent clipboard", which will not lose it's data after a reboot. It's minimized
window is always floating on top so it's easily accessible for quick copy-and-paste jobs.
Scratchpad is great for creating task lists for projects, or even daily task lists. It can also be useful
for storing temporary information that you may need after a reboot, or for code snippets, etc.
If you find that Scratchpad is too limiting, try Scratchpad Pro, which includes the ability to
create tabs to easily divide your stored information, a hidden feature so Scratchpad is not visible on your
desktop until you need it, a quick copy-and-paste feature, and more!
Installation
Note: Scratchpad will only run on 32-bit Windows systems, including Windows9x and Windows NT 4.0+.
1. To install Scratchpad, down the zip file, place it in a directory on your hard disk drive, and
unzip the files into the same directory.
2. Run Setup.exe and follow the prompts.
3. To get the most out of Scratchpad, you should add it to your startup directory, so it will start when
your system starts, however this is not mandatory for the program to run.
Software Status
Scratchpad is freeware. It is copyrighted, but freely distributable.
