  4. exhaust. Turboprops are more economical than
  5. turbojets, but can only be used at relatively
  6. low speeds. A turboprop has typically a
  7. twin-shaft rotor. One shaft carries the
  8. compressor and is spun by one turbine, while
  9. the other shaft carries a propeller and is
  10. spun by a second turbine.
