  4. his brother James, Duke of York, at Rye
  5. House, Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, but the plot
  6. was betrayed. The Duke of Monmouth was
  7. involved, and alleged co-conspirators,
  8. including Lord William Russell and Algernon
  9. Sidney (1622- 1683) were executed for
