  11. THE GAME:
  12.  You are an internation jewelry thief known to the world only as "Jumpguy".  
  13. You have stumbled upon a gate to another world filled with treasures, and 
  14. deadly obstacles.  Your object is to garner all the treasure on a level of 
  15. the world, to progress to the next level.  If you finish all the levels,
  16. you have escaped back to the real world, rich beyond your wildest imagination.

  18. CONTROLS:
  19.  JOYSTICK.      (You must first CALIBRATE your joystick.  When you installed 
  20.                 JUMPGUY, a Joystick calibration program was also installed into 
  21.                 your Windows MAIN directory with the rest of the drivers.)
  22.  Left or Right: run left or right
  23.  Down:          crouch
  24.  Button One:    Jump
  25.  KEYBOARD       (Keys are adjustable under the PLAYERS option in the GAME menu)
  26.  Left arrow:    run left
  27.  Right arrow:   run right
  28.  Down Arrow:    crouch
  29.  Shift:         jump

  31. You have five lives, and can earn more as you complete the levels.  A counter ticks 
  32. down in each level.  When you finish a level, the value of the counter is added to 
  33. your score.
  34.  Good luck, and have fun.  Warning: JUMPGUY can be difficult and frustrating, but the
  35. game can and has been completed with the allotted number of lives...if this makes you 
  36. feel any better.
