  8. Canasta 2.5 is a strategy card game for Microsoft Windows,
  9. using Artificial Intelligence. It is played by one player
  10. against the computer, and the trick is to win the game by
  11. scoring as many points as you can.
  12. Points are scored through melding cards and by making
  13. canastas (a canasta is a column of seven cards,
  14. i.e. seven Kings).

  16. Canasta follows the official rules of the 'National Canasta
  17. Laws Commission' and comes with full explanations of all
  18. rules in the online help.

  20. There are three difficulty levels, and a load of options to
  21. configure the game the way you want it. Canasta supports
  22. resolutions up to 1024x768.
  23. Other features include load & save, highscores, win ratio,
  24. selectable cardbacks and configurable sound & music.
