  2. {7}As the final scream of the lava
  3. {7}demon echoed through the lofty
  4. {7}cavern, a glowing, malignant ball
  5. {7}of light floated down to speak
  6. {7}with our heroes. "I am Omigosh."
  7. {7}it said, dripping contempt.

  9. {4}WHO'S OMIGOSH?
  10. {7}"I am a god from another world. I
  11. {7}was banished to this world by a
  12. {7}wizard named Devasco. He did not
  13. {7}know I would become so powerful
  14. {7}here, the foolish mortal!"
  15. {6}END OF THE ROAD...{4}OKAY, SO WHO'S DEVASCO?
  16. {7}Elandra gasped. "Devasco? Why...
  17. {7}he is our father! He never told us
  18. {7}of this. You lie, foul creature!"
  19.  
  20. {4}YOU LOST ME HERE...
  21. {7}"I am not a creature, I am a god!
  22. {7}And no god, even an evil one, can
  23. {7}lie. Your father brought me here
  24. {7}and very nearly brought about the
  25. {7}utter subjugation of this entire
  26. {7}world. That is, until you two
  27. {7}INSECTS decided to interfere!"
  28. {6}END OF THE ROAD...{4}UH, WHAT'S GOING ON?
  29. {7}"So," Endrick deadpanned, "does
  30. {7}this mean you're going to blast us
  31. {7}into ashes with a mere thought?"
  32.  
  33. {4}SO, WHO'S OMIGOSH AGAIN?
  34. {7}"No, for though it would give me
  35. {7}great pleasure, no god, no matter
  36. {7}how powerful, is allowed to directly
  37. {7}interfere in the affairs of man.
  38. {7}Since you defeated all my minions,
  39. {7}I can do little more than float
  40. {7}here and call you names."
  41. {6}END OF THE ROAD...{4}UMM, SO I WON, RIGHT?
  42. {7}"Yes, you have defeated me, you
  43. {7}pus bubbles. But, like any other
  44. {7}antagonistic persona, I must warn
  45. {7}you that I will be back. I will
  46. {7}be better prepared, and far more
  47. {7}powerful than you can imagine!
  48. {7}So, until next time..."

  50. {4}THIS IS REALLY WEIRD
  51. {7}With that, the ball of light
  52. {7}rose rapidly, and was soon
  53. {7}little more than a speck in the
  54. {7}distant darkness. Then it was
  55. {7}gone.
  56. {6}END OF THE ROAD...{4}THE RETURN HOME
  57. {7}Endrick and Elandra made the long
  58. {7}journey back to the Realm of the
  59. {7}Humans. The evil shadow had quickly
  60. {7}dissipated, and all the Realms
  61. {7}eventually returned to normalcy.

  63. {4}THE END
  64. {7}And thus ends this tale, though it
  65. {7}is only one of the many legends
  66. {7}involving this heroic duo. They
  67. {7}went on to undertake many other
  68. {7}quests, each more fabulous than
  69. {7}the last...but I will save those
  70. {7}stories for some other time. For
  71. {7}now, I bid you good night!
  72. {6}AUTHOR'S NOTE{4}OMIGOSH AND DEVASCO
  73. {7}These two characters are probably
  74. {7}unfamiliar to the vast majority
  75. {7}of video game players. For the
  76. {7}tale of their epic battle, you
  77. {7}need to see the ending sequence
  78. {7}of Paganitzu, Episode 3. It is
  79. {7}a puzzle oriented game Apogee
  80. {7}published four years ago.

  82. {4}SO WHY INCLUDE THEM?
  83. {7}Well, I've found that Paganitzu
  84. {7}fans are a very loyal group.
  85. {7}I just wanted them to know that
  86. {7}I haven't forgotten them.
