Nance Paternoster is a Fine Artist and Animator working in San Francisco. She presently teaches at the Academy of Art College. Starting in the field in 1980, Paternoster has explored many aspects of the Digital Art mediums. She received a BFA degree from Syracuse University's Art Media Studies Program, and Master's degree from SF State in Computer/Film Animation and Video Disk Technology. Her work combines Computer Generated Paintery images, utilizing the computer as a tool to transform an already surrealistic composition into one that is impossible to create only on the computer itself.
