  3.      CONTROL-SIM simulates operation of a simple plant control loop.  It
  4.      is intended to be used by engineers and students involved in
  5.      practical digital control system design and application.  Significant
  6.      uses include:

  8.        Tuning a controller
  9.        Specification (modeling) of a plant response
  10.        Evaluation of PID and other types of controllers
  11.        Simulation of a typical bounded controller output and input
  12.        Evaluation of effects of quantization and sample rate
  13.        Time response of LaPlace transforms
  14.        Conversion from LaPlace transforms to state equations
  15.        Development of control algorithms (registered users only)

  17.      The program is designed to be easy to use allowing the user to
  18.      concentrate on control system performance characteristics rather than
  19.      program commands and variables or extensive math.  Full featured
  20.      menu's and an initial (default) example permit the beginner to
  21.      experiment quickly, while the more advanced user can create,
  22.      evaluate, and save plant configuration files for future reference.
  23.      CONTROL-SIM operation requires IBM compatible computer with EGA/VGA
  24.      color display.

  57.      and it may not be distributed in any manner.
