  27.              FastBreak  requires the following  minumum  requirements:
  28.              
  29.              720 KB OF FREE DISK SPACE. This can be free space on
  30.         a  hard disk, two 360 kb 5.25 inch disk  drives,  1 
  31.         3.5 inch disk drive, or one 1.2 meg or one 1.44 meg 
  32.         disk drive.
  33.  
  34.              A COLOR MONITOR. This can be CGA, EGA or VGA.

  36.              YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS IN THE CONFIG.SYS
  37.         FILE ON YOUR BOOT DISK OR THE ROOT DIRECTORY OF YOUR HARD DISK:
  38.                       FILES = 15
  39.                       BUFFERS = 25
  40.              These are minumum requirements. If the number of Files and 
  41.         Buffers specified in your config.sys exceeds these numbers that's 
  42.         fine. If you don't have enough files it is a simple procedure to 
  43.         add the above statements to your CONFIG.SYS file. Simply load your
  44.         current CONFIG.SYS file (found in the root directory of your
  45.         hard disk or boot-up diskette) into your favorite word
  46.         processor and add the above lines. MAKE SURE YOU SAVE THE FILE
  47.         IN THE ASCII FORMAT (there will instructions on saving an
  48.         ASCII file in your word processor). DOS 5 users can use the
  49.         EDIT program that came with DOS 5. EDIT automatically saves
  50.         in the ASCII format.

  52.              To run FastBreak on two 360 kb diskettes you must have the 
  53.         following files on the disk in your A: drive:
  54.                                FB.EXE
  55.                                FB.HLP
  56.                                SETUP.EXE
  57.                                TALENT.NBA
  58.                                TITLE.SCN
  59.              When you run SETUP you will specify B: as your data drive and
  60.        all files created by the program will be written to B:

  62.              FastBreak Fantasy Basketball (hereafter referred to as FastBreak) 
  63.         is copyrighted software - it is not now and never has been in the
  64.         public domain.
  65.              Every release of FastBreak comes in two versions, the ShareWare 
  66.         or Evaluation Version and the Registered Version.
  67.              The ShareWare Version of FastBreak is intended for evaluation 
  68.         purposes. The ShareWare Version is fully enabled so that all areas 
  69.         of the program may be tested. Registered owners get the latest 
  70.         version of the program and a free copy of the program FastBreak 
  71.         General Manager which makes player trades and allows you to sign 
  72.         free agents.

  74.              Before running FastBreak make sure that the following files are 
  75.         in the drive/directory that you will start the program from:
  76.              FB.exe   (FastBreak the program)
  77.              FB.hlp   (the help file)
  78.              FB.doc   (the manual)
  79.              SETUP.EXE (the setup program)
  80.              Talent.NBA (the file containing the NBA teams - needed only for a
  81.                          league based on NBA players)
  82.              Title.scn (the opening graphics screen)
  83.              GM.EXE (registered version only - the General Manager's program)
  84.              
  85.             The ShareWare Version of FastBreak may be copied and distributed 
  86.    to others subject to the following conditions:
  87.             No charge may be made for FastBreak itself. Any fees collected for
  88.       the sale of diskettes containing FastBreak must be clearly stated as
  89.       being for materials and/or handling charges. The cost of the disk
  90.       containing FastBreak may not exceed $15.00.
  91.            All files included on the original distribution disk must be included
  92.       when the program is distributed or "uploaded" to a "bulletin board".

  101.            McS Custom Software reserves the right to prohibit certain
  102.       individuals or companies form distributing FastBreak. If we chose to
  103.       excercise this right the individuals or companies will be notified by
  104.       certified letter.

  107.    Before installing this or ANY new software, you should back up any
  108.    valuable data on your computer system. FastBreak has been thoroughly
  109.    tested on different systems and is believed to be reliable and
  110.    non-harmful. However, no one can ever be totally sure of the effect
  111.    a program will have on every computer. You as the user are completely
  112.    responsible for determining the fitness or usability of FastBreak
  113.    Fantasy Basketball. Maranatha Custom Software will not be liable for
  114.    damages of any kind, including but not limited to lost sales or profits
  115.    arising from any failure of this package to perform as expected.

  118.    FastBreak's registration price is $35.00. Registered users get the latest
  119.    release of the registered version of FastBreak. In addition you will   
  120.    receive the lastest version of the FastBreak GENERAL MANAGER'S DISK which
  121.    allows you to trade players or sign free agents. You will also be entitled 
  122.    to any upgrades of FastBreak without charge other than disk and postage
  123.    costs. MCS feels a real obligation to provide top flight service to our
  124.    registered users. If you have a need for an enhancement to FastBreak please
  125.    let us know. We are very responsive to our customers and we feel that the
  126.    way to make FastBreak the best program possible is to listen to the wishes
  127.    of our users.
